Building Karim’s Apps, a Public AI Lab Where Clients Test Before the Pitch

Summary

A public AI lab where decision-makers test working prototypes before they hear a pitch.

  • Live site: apps.karimhamed.com
  • Products: 9 live builds (3 applications and 6 playable games)
  • Build method: Claude Code and one integrated prompt
  • Build time: About 90 minutes
  • WordPress estimate: 10 days to 2 weeks of spare time
  • Conversion path: A free-meeting booking link on every product page

The Challenge

My main website promotes AI-powered MVPs and custom AI assistants. Decision-makers in the Gulf and Egypt want proof first: a product they can open, click through, and judge for themselves.

  • Scattered work: My prototypes lived in private links and chat artifacts.
  • Hard access: Potential clients had no single place to find and try them.
  • Missing proof: The service page made the claim, and nothing on the site backed it up.

Clients needed a public space to test the work before any sales conversation.

What I Built

I launched apps.karimhamed.com, a dedicated subdomain for my AI products, separate from my consulting site.

Section What’s inside Purpose
Applications 3 working MVPs: Outreach Tracker, Mizan, and Loqmaa Show AI solving specific problems
Games 6 playable prototypes Test game mechanics and learning ideas
Build Your MVP A 4-step process: share the idea, prototype, test with real users, then iterate or scale Link visitors to my MVP development service
Conversion paths A free-meeting link on every app and game page Turn product discovery into a business conversation

One destination: I moved the Games page from karimhamed.com/games to the new subdomain, so all nine products now live in one place.

The AI Behind the Build

I built every product in the lab with AI-assisted vibe coding, and I built the site itself with Claude Code and one integrated prompt.

  • Proof by use: Visitors try products I built with AI, so the service claim comes with evidence attached.
  • Speed shown, not promised: The lab follows my MVP offer step by step. Go from idea to working prototype fast, then test before committing to a larger build.

The Build-Time Comparison

A separate WordPress site would have taken 10 days to 2 weeks of my spare time. The AI Lab took about 90 minutes.

Approach Estimated build time
WordPress with a new theme 10 days to 2 weeks (my original estimate)
Claude Code with one integrated prompt About 90 minutes (actual)

Note: The WordPress figure is my planning estimate, not a side-by-side test.

Results

9 live products, built and published in a site that took about 90 minutes to create.

  • 9 live products: 3 applications and 6 playable games in one public lab.
  • 90-minute build: One integrated prompt in Claude Code.
  • Hands-on portfolio: Clients judge real prototypes, and service descriptions become the supporting material.
  • Direct conversion path: Visitors go from testing a product to booking a free meeting in one click.

The takeaway: The AI Lab works as a live demo of my AI development service.
